Avatar 2 brilliant, thrilling sci-fi!

Let me first start by saying I am not a big fan of the first film. When it came out, I was blown away by the visuals, like everyone else, yet I found the story and characters underwhelming.

The second installment in the series does everything bigger, and better than the first film. Visually, it’s a feast for the eyes. The story is better, the characters feel more fleshed out, and altogether I enjoyed this film much more than its predecessor.

It shouldn’t come as a surprise the sequel is good. This is James Cameroon, the same man who delivered Terminator 2, the greatest science-fiction sequel in cinema history. He also gave us the second best sequel, in Aliens. Now, Avatar 2 is right up there as his third greatest film, in my opinion.

I was lucky enough to view the film in 3D and it was absolutely stunning! I was lost in Pandora for the entire 3 hour runtime. I plan on going to see it again, in 4D-X next time. I am sure there are others doing repeat viewings, as its smashing the box-office right now.
